Winslow Public Schools Overview of District Goals
During this summer’s Leadership Retreat, school leaders worked on identifying needs and goals for each building that align with the district’s goals put forth as a result of our district-wide Comprehensive Needs Assessment. While this exercise is important for our organization to set priorities and determine allocation of resources, it also helps classroom teachers to hone in on strategies and activities that help to move students forward toward reaching their own goals, some of which should align with school and district goals. These district goals serve as a foundation for work we will do this year in the area of curriculum and instruction.
